hi guys,

hope somebody can help.
server: windows 2003, sp.1 - domain controller
client: windows XP, sp.2
MSOUtlook 2003 on the server
MSOutlook 2007 on the client machine.
I have installed PSF server on the server and psf client on the client machine. I have configured DCOM services on the server as described in the manual. Both installations went on without problems.
Now when I try to add public share folder on hte client machine, the "list" option doesn't see it. Tried the explanations with mapisvc.inf file. Again cannot see public share under list.
Any suggestions??? There are no Antivirus firewalls thru Norton, McAffee or anything else similar on the server.

Dear Tony,

if you click on the "List" button in the configuration window for Public ShareFolder on the client computer, do you get any error message or becomes the combobox "Store" white and empty?

If it is empty please look into our FAQ No 5.

Or is there something written, that you do not expect to see? If there is written something (e.g. "Outlook:Personal Folder") you have done all things right. You see the name of the server's Outlook data file. The name is individuel, so it need not to be "Public Folder" or something like that.

Kind regards

On outlook how do I post events on my calendar so that my whole work staff can view them without me individually sending the event to each co-worker?

Dear Clayton,

you can use Public ShareFolder to publish e.g. your calendar for your staff. Then they can look alltogether and simultaneously into your Outlook calendar and see, create or edit the appointments (if you give them the right to be allowed that).

Is this what you want?

Feel free to download the demo version of Public ShareFolder from this website and test the software.

Kind regards

Dirk Eickhoff
