Upgrade to ver 1.5 - "Can't Contact Server"

I finally got around to doing the upgrade from Version 1.2 to version 1.5 on my server and 2 clients. I am running Windows XP Home on all the PCs, Outlook 2000 on the Sever and one client and Outlook 2007 on the other client. After installing the upgrades, installing XP-Home-Fix on both clients and restarting all 3 PCs several times, I am still getting the error message "Can't Contact Server, Access is denied, (80070005)" on both clients. I had already added exceptions to server's Windows Firewall for Public Sharefolder 1.2. Do I need to add other exceptions for Version 1.5? Any other suggestions or things I should be checking for? This setup worked very well for several years under version 1.2 until I upgraded on of the PCs to Outlook 2007. Thanks.

Hello cdharris,

please remove all rules for Public ShareFolder in your Windows Firewall on all computers and then run the setup for PSF 1.5 again (no uninstallation before this). The setup adds all needed rules to the Windows Firewall.
Now, run the XP-Home fix on the clients and say "Yes, the server is XP Home". I hope that helps.
