Which settings have to be changed in a Firewall, if Public ShareFolder is blocked (DCOM Ports)?

Public ShareFolder use for the communication the Microsoft DCOM-protocoll (DCOM = Distributed COM).

The DCOM Ports (Microsoft Distributed COM) are:

135 TCP (EPMAP) In- and Outgoing in the LAN
137 UDP (netbios ns) In- and Outgoing in the LAN

The used programs/execute files are:

On the Client:
POL32Evt.exe and Outlook.exe

On the Public ShareFolder Server:
POL32.exe (sometimes listed as WGF32 Module), svchost.exe and die Outlook.exe

If you have a firewall (excluded the Windows XP, SP2 Firewall) on the "Server" and on the "Client" and also on a Wireless LAN router you have to change this settings (open the ports) in all firewalls.

If you use the Windows XP, SP2 firewall you don´t have to change this settings, we changed this with our setup.
