How to change the name of "Outlook: Personal Folder" to "Outlook: Public Folder" in Public ShareFolder?


Open Outlook on the "Server". Klick in the folderlist on "Personal Folder (Outlook Today)", right mouseclick/properties/advanced.

Here you can change the name to: "Public Folder"

Open the admin interface of Public ShareFolder and click on "refresh". Now you can see the new name.

For Outlook 2002/2003/2007:

Open Outlook on the Client. Goto "File/Data Filemanagement", doubleclick on "not available" and on the next windows on "List. Now you see also the new name. Klick on "OK", confirm the next window with "close".

For Outlook 98/2000:
Open Outlook on the client, go to "Tools/Services" doubleclick on "Public ShareFolder" and on the next window click on "List".

Now you see also the new name. Klick on "OK", confirm the next window with "close".
