How to solve the problem with the message: "The maximum numbers of licenses is reached"? But I am sure, I have enough/more licenses then connected users.
This message could appear if you change a "username" or "password" on a client, but you did not change this in all parts of Microsoft Outlook.
It also could appear if you change/move a Public ShareFolder user to a new computer but you also forget to change the user in all parts of Microsoft Outlook.
How can you solve this problem?
Go to all clients where you changed a user name or a password in Public ShareFolder and delete the entry "Public ShareFolder.

For Outlook 98/2000:
In Outlook under "Tools/Services" => Delete "Public ShareFolder" and delete the "Outlook Addressbook"
(If you delete the Outlook Addressbook, no contact will be deleted)

For Outlook 2002/2003:
In Outlook under "File/Datafilemanagement" => Delete "Public ShareFolder".
Goto "Tools/E-Mail Accouts/Show existing and available Addressbooks" next => delete the "Outlook Addressbook".
(If you delete the Outlook Addressbook, no contact will be deleted)

Again: Do this on all clients where you changed the user name or password in Public ShareFolder..
Check in the "Task Manager" on the clients under "Process" if the program files "POL32Evt.exe" and "Outlook.exe" were closed. If not, please kill both processes.
Close the Public ShareFolder Server.
Check in the "Task Manager" on the Server under "Process" if the program files "POL32adm.exe", "POL32.exe" and "Outlook.exe" were closed.
If not, please kill both processes.
Reboot the PC where the Public ShareFolder Server is running.
Restart now the Public ShareFolder Server.
Open Outlook on the clients and add the Outlook Addressbook on the clients.

After you did this on all clients, the problem must be solved.
If you change a Public ShareFolder user on a machine or if you switch this user to another machine, please do the following steps:
How to change a user "A" to user "B":
1. Change the username/password of User "A" to the username/password of User "B" on the client
2. Delete the "Outlook Addressbook".
3. Close Outlook.
4. Kill the POL32Evt.exe and Outlook.exe processes from the Task manager (if they are still running).
5. Restart Outlook.
6. Add the "Outlook Addressbook".
7. Restart the PC.

Outlook 2007: Bad news for Outlook 2007 users. Untill now (December 2007) you can not delete the Outlook Addressbook, you have to create a complete new Outlook profil to change any error settings in the Outlook 2007 Addressbook.
