Please ensure that both the mailbox and the PST file are linked in Outlook®.
To do so, start Outlook® and have it display the list of folders. The mailbox and the PST file must both be listed here.
In the event the mailbox is not listed and you would like to synchronise with another user’s mailbox please add it now. It is not enough that access to mailbox folders is possible via File, Open, Other User’s Folders.
If the PST file is not listed, please add this now via File, Open, Outlook® Data File... If the PST file still doesn’t exist then a new one can be created via the command File, New, Outlook® Data File... and simultaneously linked in Outlook®.
Note that you have sufficient authorisation to create and delete messages from the mailbox folders for the synchronisation.
In the Public SyncTool configuration the personal folders file is offered as local memory so that the mailbox will be configured as global memory.
Now please continue with the Public SyncTool configuration.
Note for experienced Outlook® users:
The Public SyncTool can access all established Outlook® profiles. The PST file and the mailbox hence do not necessarily need to be set up in the same Outlook® profile.
