10. Firewall / Router configuration
In part 9.0 of the manual we wrote:
It could be, that you have to configure the firewall of your "Router", that your router has to forward incoming messages on port 80 to the computer where Public WEB PST is installed.
Normally all newer "Routers" are having DNS/DDNS services on board.
Have a look in the manual of your router if it supports also DNS services.
If not, you only have to configure the firewall to forward the Port 80.
On the "Netgear®" website we found some additional information about "How to configure your router" or "How to forward a special port in your router".
Nearly all manufacturer of routers have a website like Netgear®.
Please have a look on the site of your router manufacturer to get additional information.
For Netgear® routers
How is portforwarding configured?
What is Dynamic DNS?
Using Dynamic DNS when running an Internet Server?
(Your internet server is Microsoft IIS Server, that was installed with Public WEB PST)
General information about DNS on the Netgear® website.
