FAQs: Public ShareFolder for Microsoft Outlook

Support / FAQ No. 33

Question: Can calendar, contacts or any other folders be administered with reading and writing rights?

Answer:

A complete Outlook® structur inclusive subfolders can be administered from all workstations. With reading and writing rights for messages and folders for every single user.

For example. You have a 10 user network. You can select for every user and every folder of the Public Folder an own right. You can select rights for folders (Read, Write, delete) and also for messages ((Read, Write, delete).

With this rights you can protect (for example) the “Public Folders” for a unintentional deletion, if nobody have the right to delete a folder.

Be sure that if a user have the right to delete messages or folders, he must have the right to write in the "Deleted Objects" folders.
