FAQs: Public ShareFolder for Microsoft Outlook

Support / FAQ No. 41

Question: How does Public ShareFolder behaves with the SP2 security update of Outlook® 2000?

Answer:

After installation of the SP2 of Outlook® 2000 you will get the following message:

”A program is trying to access e-mail addresses you have stored in Outlook®. Do you want to allow this?”

The accesses of Public ShareFolder are "correct" accesses. They are tolerated by the security update (SP2 of Outlook® 2000) in each Outlook® version. You receive no request or error messages in this connection. In this case Public ShareFolder behaves completely Outlook® conformal.

If you will get this message, the reason is not Public ShareFolder. A program that could solve this problem is “Click Yes“ (freeware): http://www.contextmagic.com/express-clickyes/
