4. Determine the name of the Outlook profile and for what do I need the name?
In Windows® it is possible to create different user profile. Normally you have min. 2 Windows profiles; the administrator and a user profile. In Outlook® it is also possible to have different profiles for the same Windows user. You could create an Outlook profile for you and one for your wife or a company Outlook profile and one profile for your private email account.
If you have more then one profile, Public WEB PST for Outlook® can not know which profile or which Outlook PST file you want to access over the web.
To get the right profile and Outlook PST file, Public WEB PST has a special "login" interface where you have to insert the Outlook profile and the username. We will explain on the following sites how to get the necessary information.

This manual was made with a Windows® 2000 System. The pictures/images of the screenshots could be different to your images, if you use a Windows XP system or a Windows Vista system. Sorry, but we can not support a guidance for all Microsoft® Windows® and Microsoft® Office systems.
4.1 What is the name of the Outlook® profile: Outlook® 98 or Outlook® 2000
Please go to "Start/Settings/Control Panel"

Change in the next windows the "View" to the "Classic View"
and doubleclick on the folder "Mail"

In the new window please click now on the Button "Show profiles".
A window with the created Outlook profiles is opened. The most frequently names are:
"Microsoft Outlook Internet Settings"
"Microsoft Exchange Settings" or
"Outlook

Remember this name. You must note the name of your Outlook profile for the later registration
If you have more then one Outlook profile installed, please remember only the name that you want to use with Public WEB PST for Outlook®.
Now, please close all Control Panel windows.

4.2 What is the name of the Outlook® profile: Outlook® 2002, 2003, 2007
Please go to "Start/Settings/Control Panel"

Change the view to "Classic View" and doubleclick on the folder "Mail"

In the new window please click now on the Button "Show profiles".

The following dialogfield appear:

A window with the created Outlook profiles is opened. The most frequently name is "Outlook"
If your Outlook version was updated from an Outlook98/2000 Version, you could have also names like:
"Microsoft Outlook Internet Settings" or
"Microsoft Exchange Settings"
Remember this name of your Outlook profiles. You must note the name of your Outlook profile for the later registration
If you have more then one Outlook profile installed, please remember only the name that you want to use with Public WEB PST for Outlook®.
Now, please cloase all Control Panel windows.
